COVID-19: Brazil Still Burying 1,500 Daily

Adeyinka Olaiya/

Daily record of deaths linked to Covid-19 now stands at 1500 in Brazil.

The pandemic forced the nation to declare a total lockdown until April, and now it is on the verge of attaining a national health collapse.

NewsmakersNG gathered that the burial grounds are no longer having where to bury victims, and the vaccines are practically not having effects.

The health minister, Dr. Panzuello, said: “If nothing is done to stop this spread, the country could have the half of its population infected.”

He said that illegal gatherings and hidden parties by some Brazilians were among the reasons why the spread was going beyond control.

The country has imposed curfew in a number of its cities, no one is allowed to walk on the street without a tangible reason.

The news reports in Brazil blamed the President, Jair Bolsonaro, for the COVID spread and health collapse. He was accused of not promoting the use of masks and social distancing at the initial stage of the pandemic, as he was a fan of the former American President, Donald Trump, who also was not promoting the use of masks

Presently, Brazil is having 11,202,305 cases of infected victims, 9,921,994 recovered, and 271,286 deaths. Reports say it is getting worse every day.
