One of Nigeria’s leading indigenous conglomerates, Coscharis Group, has won the award of the strongest brand in the country for 2016.
The company bagged the honour at the top 50 Brands’ awards held in Lagos. It was adjudged the number one in the conglomerate category with an aggregate of 54.3 points on the Brand Strength Measurement index.
The award “celebrates owners that have invested heavily in their companies to achieve the promise made and they are now generating value as a return in their different areas of business investment”.
According to the organisers of the event “the Top 50 Brands Nigeria is the report card of a year-long research to determine brands that have exemplified themselves, lived up to their promises and earned considerable value.”
Coscharis Group, in a statement, says it considers the award a reaffirmation of the company’s continuous efforts to expand its product portfolio towards catering to all relevant facets of the economy.
According to the statement by the General Manager, Marketing and Corporate Communications, Coscharis Group, Mr. Abiona Babarinde, the company is committed to ensuring that every household in Nigeria utilises a product from its stable on the long run.
Babarinde stated: “Winning the award is a testimony to Coscharis Group’s constant demonstration to deliver on its brand promise of providing the highest quality standard of products and services across Nigeria; while ensuring the sustenance of its corporate values by operating with increasing profit and waxing stronger and bigger into the future.”
