Five Nigerians have been counted among 400 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Brazil.

According to information from the country’s health ministry, the Nigerians made up of three women and two men from Enugu, Imo State and Western Nigeria have been put in isolation in their homes after testing positive to the Coronavirus.

Already, Brazil has recorded over 400 cases and 2500 suspects, says the authorities.

A 62-year-old diabetic patient has also been recorded as the first victim of coronavirus to die in Brazil, where Yellow Fever vaccine is being considered as a temporary treatment.

The Latin American country has ordered the closure of public and private events places, malls, schools and banned any form of group activity.
