More than 22, 000 people have been killed by the novel coronavirus, says fresh figures reported today when Italy alone loses 662 citizens bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 8000.
The figure was released by Johns Hopkins University today just as Nigeria records 14 new cases bringing the total in the country to 65.
According to the latest report, the number of #COVID19 cases in the United States has topped 70,000 after midday today, while the global number has gone beyond 510,000.
As the situation worsens in the U.S. that has now been confirmed as the third most infected country in the world, reports say more than three million people have filed unemployment claims.
