CMCM Donates N4.75M to Curb Coronavirus in Six States …God Showed Me in 2014 – Prophet Adebisi

Six states are getting a donation of N4.75million from Christ Miracle Church Mission Worldwide (CMCM) to curb the spread of coronavirus aka COVID-19.

According to the President of CMCM, Prophet Peter Abiola Adebisi, beneficiaries of the cash donation are Lagos, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, Oyo and Ondo states.

Making the announcement on behalf of the church on Sunday at a press briefing, in Ojodu, Lagos, Prophet Adebisi said: “Our aim is to tell the people that coronavirus is real and thousands of people don’t know the gravity of the disease and the little donation we are giving is to wake up other churches, mosques and people that in togetherness we can build our nation against the pandemic.

“We have to play according to the rules of the game. It is to be in isolation, it is not the time for a party or to be in any congested area. This is time to be with your family and to make personal hygiene the topmost by watching your hands and spreading the news to people that coronavirus is real. In Isaiah 26:20; God instructed His people that they should go to their chamber and hide for a time because of their indignation so that evil can pass them over.”

The prophet said he was motivated by what Governor Babajide Sanwoolu did for the needy in Lagos, buying food for them, adding: ”It touched my heart and I felt our church too can contribute.”

The church gave Lagos State Government N2million, N1million to Ogun State Government, N750, 000 to Osun State Government, N250, 000 to Ondo State Government and Oyo State Government respectively and N500, 000 to Ekiti State Government.

Prophet Adebisi explained that the amount was determined per the number of victims recorded in each state although it has changed.

“But, in the next phase, as God is helping us, we are still planning to do a lot. In our community here, we are considering buying hand sanitizers for the people. We would have bought but for the scarcity,” he said.

While answering questions from a journalist, he said the disease was not from God, but man-made like a biological weapon. “God allowed it as a result of our sins. What we sowed is what we reaped.”

He added, “In 2014, God spoke through me that disease is coming, but He didn’t give me the name of the disease. It was during the time of Ebola. Ebola was tagged black disease. He said it would be called a white disease because it would come from the white. I saw people using mouth guide and they were falling down and dying. I saw death in thousands. I prayed that it will not come to Africa, because if it comes, the economy will collapse within a week. Having seen the manifestation right now, I knew the gravity of what I saw in the spirit and I’ve been praying earnestly that Lord never allows this thing to happen to my people. It is a thing that a mother will not know children. Imagine in Italy. Anyone that is 60 and above with the disease, there is no medical attention on them. They expect them to die; they want to save the younger ones. So the old people are dying in great numbers in Italy. That is where they have a better medical facility, compared to Nigeria.”

Explaining how the church has been coping since the lockdown, he said, “It is like you are asking me to choose between life and death. I will choose life. We have electronic Altar by the Grace of God. While I was preaching today we had about four thousand people watching on my Facebook account alone. We have a radio and TV station. I don’t have the number of the people that watched on the TV station and on the church website yet, and the number of people that listened on the radio yet but I will get to know. Last Friday we had vigil; people that watched the vigil were about 27,000. The church is not losing anything, only the communal and coming together. In the area of dishing out the word, the church is not losing. Church of God can never be defeated. In every adversity there comes a university; it is to teach a lesson. Church of God can never be conquered nor be defeated.”

Asked if God has revealed to him when coronavirus will end, he said it would soon be like malaria: “When malaria first came it was killing people, even the white. It was a deadly disease, but now if you catch malaria there is no fear any longer. Likewise, this COVID-19 won’t be killing any longer because there will be a cure for it.”
