The National Industrial Court of Appeal, Ibadan Division, Oyo State has struck out the case brought before it by some aggrieved members of the Union against the Ogun State National Union of Road Transport Workers election held on December 12, 2019.
After giving advice and instructions to both parties at the last sitting of the court on the case on March 3, the Chief Judge, Justice Dada Dele Peters struck out the case to uphold the election of Alhaji Mustapha Ismail as the authentic Chairman of the Ogun State NURTW.
The court struck out the case to uphold the election of Alhaji Mustapha Ismail and his management based on article 42, Section 8, Subsection 4 and 5 of the NURTW constitution.
Following the declaration, there was wild jubilation at the Industrial Court as members celebrate.
