Brookes College, a higher institution based in Calgary, Canada, has offered full scholarships to young indigent Nigerian students who have demonstrated high academic achievements.

The full scholarships include full tuition fee and a grant for living costs for the duration of the entire academic programme.

According to information posted on the college’s website, brookescollege.ca, Brookes College will be giving out 10 scholarships, with just four being full scholarships.

Three of the 10 scholarships will cover 100 percent of tuition fees only without any grant for living cost, while the remaining three will cover just 50 percent of tuition fee.

The College’s Campus Director, Maria MacMinn Varvos, explained that to be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the International Admission Entrance English language requirements.

These include verified transcripts from home country with results equivalent to standard admission requirements.

Varvos said interested applicants have until January 2024 to submit their application.
