The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Way-to-Life, Ottawa, Canada, recently marked its 7th founding anniversary with a vibrant thanksgiving service filled with worship, prayers, and messages of hope.
The Regional Superintendent and Coordinator of CAC North America and Canada, Dr. Timothy Omolayo Agbeja, officiated the service alongside his wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Agnes Agbeja.
In his prayer for the church, he said: “We now decree at the end of this seven years that we are celebrating, let greater blessings visit them. Reward them for all their labor.”
The highlight of the celebration was the blessing of the founding pastor, Pastor Adebowale Adeoye, and his wife, Evangelist Omowunmi Adeoye. Congregants offered prayers for God’s continued wisdom, favour, and strength upon the pastoral couple as they lead the church into its eighth year.
The weekend also featured a special program for youths and young adults, held on Saturday, September 13, at the church auditorium. The session, led by Pastor Adekunmi Browne, Canada and North America Youth & Young Adult Regional Coordinator, prepared the young members for the thanksgiving.
Preaching on “Walking in Purpose”, Pastor Browne encouraged the youth to be intentional learners: “Be a note taker! Set your mind on the fact that you’re walking in God’s purpose. This will help you do things the proper way.”
Uplifting music from the CAC Way-to-Life Ottawa Choir, led by Evangelist Femi Itasanmi, and the CAC Way-to-Life Montreal Choir, directed by Mrs. Olawumife Babalola, added to the spiritual atmosphere.
The Montreal assembly was represented by Pastor Israel Adeoye and Assistant Pastor Ojo Adetiba, who also joined in thanksgiving for God’s mercies.
The 7th anniversary was planned by a special committee chaired by Elder Omobamidele Babalola.
Members described the celebration as a milestone that reflected God’s faithfulness and Pastor Adeoye’s steadfast leadership. As CAC Way-to-Life Ottawa steps into its eighth year, the congregation expressed renewed commitment to spiritual growth and service.
