Kano State governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, is expected to appear before the 7-man panel probing allegations of bribery against him tomorrow.
The panel in a letter, dated October 31, 2018, requested the governor to appear before it tomorrow to share his perspective on the allegations.
The panel requested him to submit a written, signed and dated statement on or before the date of the hearing.
The panel also granted the governor the liberty to come with his lawyer, if he so wishes.
The invitation noted that the video clips of the alleged bribe, which were submitted by the Daily Nigerian publisher, Jafar Jafar, when he appeared before the committee last week, were also enclosed.
NewsmakersNG could not confirm if the governor would be honouring the invitation given the short notice.
