The number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in Nigeria rose to 20,244 today with the annoucement of 436 new cases by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The total number of patients who have recovered from the disease also stands at 6,879, while a total of 518 persons have died due to COVID-19 related complications.
Lagos again topped the list of states with new infections with 169 cases, followed by Oyo with 52.
