A tanker loaded with premium motor spirit (petrol) has fallen in Ogba area of Lagos, spilling its content on the road.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the incident happened at County bus stop along Aguda-Ogba road this afternoon.
The road has reportedly been cordoned off by emergency officials, with traffic diverted to alternative routes.
The development has created a traffic snarl in the area.
The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos police command in a post on Twitter advised motorists to avoid the road and seek alternative routes.
The post by RRS read “A loaded tanker has fallen in County B/stop, Aguda, Ikeja. Vehicles are being diverted to different routes while emergency responders avert disaster. Motorists are advised to avoid the area.”
