All Progressives Congress National Leader and presidential aspirant, Senator Bola Tinubu, is currently at a meeting with APC Governors in Abuja.
The meeting is coming up hours after Tinubu’s protege, Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, declared his interest in running against his political godfather for the APC presidential ticket.
NewsmakersNG learnt thar the meeting is being held at the Kebbi State Governor’s Lodge, in Asokoro.
Those already at the venue are, Governors Abubakar Bagudu of Kebbi State, Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State, Bababjide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, Gboyega Oyetola of Osun, Mai Mala Binu of Yobe, Simon Lalong of Plateau and Abubakar Badaru of Jigawa.
It was gathered that more governors are expected to attend the meeting.
Osinbajo too had hosted the governors at his Aguda House residence Sunday evening, where he disclosed his intention to vie for the APC presidential ticket.
