President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed retired AIG Hakeem Odumosu as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Odumosu, a former RRS Commander, like Dr. Kayode Egbetokun who was appointed as IGP yesterday, was a former Lagos State Commissioner of Police and he was once assigned by former President Muhammadu Buhari as the Head of a Presidential Taskforce to decongest roads leading to Apapa Port.
Nicknamed Tango One while serving as RRS Commander in Lagos, Odumosu was until his new appointment the Government Liaison Officer for the Lagos State Parks Management Committee chaired by Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya aka Oluomo.
The new appointment is subject to his confirmation by the Senate.
