Gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen have reportedly kidnapped a Methodist Church minister in Osun State.
The clergyman, identified as Rev. Adewuyi Adegoke, was reportedly attacked along the road linking Osun State to Aramoko-Ekiti, on his way to his station in Ado-Ekiti yesterday.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the kidnappers have demanded a N3 million ransom for the victim.
They also reportedly threatened to kill the clergyman if the ransom is not delivered to them by Thursday.
A post by one Awoyemi Matthew on the Facebook page of the victim reads: “People of GOD. everywhere. please let us raise prayer altars for this vibrant servant of GOD. REV Adewuyi Adegoke. who was kidnapped by Fulani herdsmen recently between Ekiti and Osun state.”
