Omoyele Sowore and Olawale Bakare have been released by the DSS in compliance with the order of the Federal High Court, Abuja.
The Rights Activists and pro-democracy campaigners regained freedom more than three months after they were arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS).
They were arrested and charged to court by the Nigerian government for planning a nationwide protest tagged #RevolutionNow.
Sowore and Bakare were released this evening after the Federal High Court in Abuja ordered their release for the third time.
They are expected to appear in court on Friday for the commencement of trial.
