Vice President Kashim Shettima could not contain his emotion today as the Presidential Election Petition Court sitting in Abuja struck out petitions contesting his qualification for the VP office.
Surrounded by APC stalwarts inside the courtroom, Shettima’s face beamed with infectious smiles that others around him quickly reflected, while the opposition’s bench appeared frozen.
Justice Tsammani held that the Allied People’s Movement lacked locus standi to institute matters bothering on nomination and sponsorship of the Vice President.
