Breaking: Sanusi Leads Jumaat Prayers in Awe

Deposed emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, has stepped out for the first time since he was banished to Awe town, Nasarawa State, on Tuesday.

Sanusi stepped out in the company of the governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai and the Emir of Awe.

He was driven to the palace of the emir of Awe, where he preached and led Jumaat prayers.

The former emir reportedly described his dethronement as the will of God.
