The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that its Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, has been redeployed to Delta State as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations.
Adejobi, who was recently promoted from Assistant Commissioner of Police to Deputy Commissioner of Police by the Police Service Commission, officially takes up his new assignment as part of routine postings within the Force.
His redeployment places him at the helm of operations in Delta State, one of the country’s most strategic commands.
The Force has not yet announced who will succeed Adejobi as the new spokesperson.
