A girl identified as a trader at the Ojota area of Lagos has reportedly been killed by stray bullet as the police tried to stop a rally organized by Yoruba Nation agitators.
Among the protesters were traditionalists dressed in white garments.
They joined other protesters chanting “Oduduwa Nation now”, “Yoruba Nation Now”.
They were teargassed by the police, but they remained defiant.
