Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, has dumped the All Progressives Party (APC) after months of battle with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Ajayi tendered his letter of resignation from the party, today, at his Apoi Ward 2, in Ese Odo Local Government Area of the state.
This came some hours after his convoy was prevented from going out of the Government House in Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital, by the Police Commissioner, Mr. Bolaji Salami.
Speaking while tendering his resignation letter, Ajayi said everybody knew why he left the APC.
Shortly after, he went to the secretariat of the PDP in the ward where he announced his defection to the party and obtained his party card.
