Popular Yoruba actor and director, Murphy Afolabi, is dead.
His death came barely 24 hours after that of another popular Nollywood actor, Saint Obi, was made public.
The 49-year-old actor was said to have fallen down in the bathroom at his house in Ikorodu, Lagos, this Sunday morning.
The Osogbo-born actor reportedly died shortly afterwards.
Many of his colleagues have taken to social media to mourn the loss of the actor.
Fellow actor, Odunlade Adekola, wrote on his Instagram handle: “Jesus Christ. We lost Murphy.”
