Breaking: NDLEA Discovers New Banned Drug Route

Narcotic Agents have uncovered a new route through which drugs are imported into Nigeria.

According to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), the discovery came after officers from Area ‘B’ Police Headquarters, Apapa, in Lagos, impounded a 40-foot container laden with about 40 cartons of Tramadol and other banned drugs concealed with cartons of brushes.

Further investigations by the NDLEA revealed another 40-feet container located in Brawal Terminal.

More seizures by NDLEA

NewsmakersNG learnt that a joint examination conducted on the container revealed 255 cartons of different types of Tramadol and other banned medicines.
