Nigeria has confirmed 220 new cases of COVID-19 bringing the total in the country to 2,388.
According to the update provided by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its Twitter handle today, Lagos and Ogun States recorded the highest number of new infections with 62 and 52 cases respectively.
Surprisingly, Kano State, which overtook Lagos State yesterday with highest number of daily infections, recorded only two new cases toady.
The agency also disclosed that 385 patients have been discharged, while 85 have died.
