The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced four new COVID-19-related deaths, just as it confirmed 51 fresh cases of the disease.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 493.
A breakdown of the new cases shows that Lagos State has the highest with 32, Kano has six, Kwara has five, FCT, Oyo and Katsina have two each, while Ogun and Ekiti have one each.
The latest figures shared by NCDC on Twitter also show that COVID-19 fatalities in the country have increased from 13 to 17.
