The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 20 new cases of cronavirus in the country.
The agency also announced two more deaths from complications of the infection, bringing the number of deaths to four.
Two persons, including a former Managing Director of PPMC, Suleiman Achimugu, had earlier died of coronavirus in Abuja.
The agency broke the news in a tweet today.
“Twenty new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 11 in Lagos, 3 in the FCT, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun & 1 in Ondo. Two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo State,” the tweet read.
“As at 10:30 pm 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.”
