Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered that fast rising hip-hop artist, Azeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, be remanded in the prison custody.
The judge made the order today after the musician was arraigned before him on an 11- count charge, bordering on credit card fraud.
The musician had pleaded not guilty to the charges against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The defence counsel, Taiwo Oreagba, had earlier filed a bail application on behalf of his client.
The judge however adjourned till May 30 to hear the bail application.
