Multiple people have died in a shooting at the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky.
Metro police are now responding to the incident on East Main Street in the downtown area of the city urging members of the public to avoid the area.
Police have indicated that the shooting occurred on the first floor of the building.
By 9.30 am, officers confirmed on Twitter that there are “multiple casualties” from the shooting.
At least a dozen police cars and three ambulances have responded to the area according to witnesses on social media.
