Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, today presented the staff of office to the new Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akwem Owoade, during a ceremony at the Exco Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Agodi, Ibadan.
Makinde warned that chiefs involved in financial misconduct during the selection process would face prosecution.
Oba Owoade, accompanied by supporters from Oyo town, was announced as the new Alaafin last Friday.
