Breaking: Lagos Moves to Avert Danger, Closes VI Road after Another Petrol Tanker Accident

The Lagos State government has ordered the closure of some roads on Victoria Island after an early morning accident involving a petrol tanker.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the accident occurred on Ozumba Mbadiwe Road and resulted in the tanker spilling its contents on the road.

The stretch between Kofo Abayomi junction around Radisson Blu to Akin Adesola junction has consequently been closed to traffic, leaving only the other side of the road for traffic moving in both directions.

Motorists have been advised to take alternative routes to avoid being caught in traffic.
