Lagos State health commissioner Prof Akin Abayomi has recovered from COVID-19.
The news of his recovery was announced by the ministry via its verified Twitter handle this morning.
The Commissioner reportedly retook a mandatory COVID19 PCR test which returned negative yesterday evening.
Abayomi announced that he tested positive for deadly virus seven days ago.
