The organised labour has called off the nationwide industrial action scheduled to commence today.
The strike was called to press home workers’ demand for a new national minimum wage.
The National Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, Ayuba Wabba, announced the suspension at the end of the resumed meeting of the tripartite committee last night in Abuja.
The committee which was set up to come up with the new minimum wage is expected to submit its report to President Muhammadu Buhari today.
