The Chief of Army Staff in Italy, General Salvatore Farina, has reportedly tested positive to Coronavirus and will remain quarantined in his home.
According to a report on People’s Daily, China, a replacement would take on General Farina’s official duties.
NewsmakersNG gathered that the 63-year-old General previously served as commander of the Kosovo Force, the military attache at the Embassy of Italy, London, and as the commander of Allied Joint Force Command, Brunssum.
