Breaking: Ikeja Gas Leakage Brought Under Control

The gas leakage which triggered widespread panic in parts of Ikeja, Lagos, this morning, has reportedly been brought under control with residents advised to go about their daily routine.

However, traffic diversion around the areas is still in force as law enforcement agents remain active at the scene of the gas leakage

The areas affected by the leakage include Computer Village, Underbridge Awolowo Way, and Oba Akran axis, Anifowose Street, and Medical Road.

The spokesperson for NEMA (South West), Ibrahim Farinloye, had earlier issued a warning to residents against using anything inflammable.
