Unidentified gunmen attacked two churches in Kaduna State during service this afternoon, killing three worshippers and abducting scores of others, including children.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the two attacks took place simultaneously at the affected churches, located in Kajuru local government area of the state.
The gunmen first struck at St. Moses Catholic Church, Roboh, in Ungwan Aku, killing three worshippers and abducting several others.
Moments later, they also attacked Maranatha Baptist Church located within the same axis, where they abducted 36 persons, including five males and 31 females, several of whom are children.
One worshipper also sustained gunshots wound during the attack and is said to have been rushed to St. Gerald Hospital in Kaduna for treatment.
