Four Dead as Gunmen Attack Ex-president Jonathan’s Country Home

A soldier guarding the country home of former President Goodluck Jonathan was shot to death today as gunmen stormed the resident at Otuoke, in Ogbia local government area of Bayelsa State.

According to multiple sources, three of the gunmen were killed by the soldiers, who foiled the attempt to break into the house.

The soldiers stationed around the residence, however, lost a man while repelling the attack.

It was learnt that the gunmen also attempted to snatch a gunboat in a creek near the residence.
