A mystery fire has razed the house of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Bode Ojajuni at Alausa Police Barracks, Ikeja.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the fire which raged for about 10 minutes consumed a better part of the house.
NewsmakersNG also learnt that Ojajuni, who was away at his duty post at Area A Command Headquarters, Lion Building, on Lagos Island received a call from home at about 3:20 pm that his house was on fire and he quickly called for emergency support.
The quick intervention of the DPO Alausa, CSP Sola Omilade, neighbours and men of the Lagos State Fire Service, brought the fire under control before it could spread further.
The cause of the fire which started in the children’s room remained a mystery as there was a power outage at the time and nobody had put up any fire in the house.
The children were outside playing ball at the time of the incident.
