The quick intervention of the DPO Alausa, CSP Sola Omilade, neighbours and men of the Lagos State Fire Service, brought the fire under control before it could spread further.

The cause of the fire which started in the children’s room remained a mystery as there was a power outage at the time and nobody had put up any fire in the house.

The children were outside playing ball at the time of the incident.
