Inmates of the Kaduna Central Correctional Centre are reportedly protesting the congestion in their cells in the wake of the rising cases of COVID-19 infection in the country.
NewsmakersNG learnt that the inmates are insisting on been set free to protect them from contracting the coronavirus infection.
Armed prison wardens are said to be struggling to keep the protesting inmates at bay, while the management of the prison have called for security backup.
