Former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has been released by the Department of State Services (DSS).
Dasuki was released in Abuja this evening following the directive of the federal government, after spending four years in detention.
The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, had asked the DSS to release Dasuki and pro-democracy activist, Omoyele Sowore, in compliance with the court order on their release.
