Kaduna High Court today granted the leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN), Ibrahim El-Zakzaky, permission to seek medical treatment in India.
El-Zakzaky and wife, Zeenat were, however, not in court during the ruling on their bail application.
Police had beefed up security in the Kaduna metropolis ahead of the hearing.
