Armed robbers on the rampage in Ogun State have killed an Islamic cleric identified as Alhaji Dauda Adekunle Samsa in the Obalende area of Isara overnight.
NewsmakersNG gathered from neighbors that the 62-year-old cleric was shot to death by what appeared as a 4-man gang that stormed the neighborhood in a vehicle.
“The gang robbed other residents of various items including mobile phones,” a resident told NewsmakersNG.
The body of the cleric was taken to the General Hospital in Isara where he was confirmed dead by doctors.
