Breaking: Apapa Boils as Colleagues Protest Killing of Truck Driver by Police (Video)

Truck drivers have taken to the streets in Apapa to protest the killing one of them by policemen attached to the Presidential Taskforce on Apapa gridlock.

The deceased was said to be in his early twenties.

The policemen and the truck drivers had reportedly been having a series of clashes since yesterday before today’s unfortunate development.

NewsmakersNG learnt that two unidentified persons also sustained gunshots wounds in today’s faceoff which took place at Lylipond gate, in Ijora.

Two police vans were reportedly destroyed by the rampaging truck drivers.

NewsmakersNG could not yet ascertain what led to the disagreement between the two parties.
