Breaking: 7 Policemen Gunned Down in Abuja

Seven policemen have been gunned down by unknown assailants in Abuja.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the incident occurred this afternoon at Galadimawa Junction, off International Airport Road.

Eyewitnesses told NewsmakersNG the assailants shot the policemen from a moving vehicle and drove off immediately.

They said that the bodies of the slain policemen were later evacuated from the scene in a police van.

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) police commissioner, Sadiq Bello, has confirmed the incident.
