No fewer than four persons, including a woman and her three children, have been confirmed dead after a house collapsed in the Magodo-Isheri area of Lagos this morning.
The General Manager, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Dr Femi Oke-Osayintolu, confirmed the casualty figure.
He the dead victims were struck by the one of pillars of the building causing them to die instantly.
He also said some injured victims trapped in the rubble had been rescued and rushed to a hospital while emergency officials were on the ground to ensure safety at the scene.
