Brazil’s President Jair Bolsonaro has vowed to stage rigorous criteria against the influx of foreigners into the Latin American country.
“This is a new government and decisions shall be according to this government, Brasil is not a hideout for criminals,” the President stated.

Bolsonaro also reaffirmed that Brazil will abandon the United Nations Immigration accord of which the country is also a signatory, as he promised to make entry visas to Brazil very rigorous
He referred to the difficulties the government of France is currently undergoing while trying to please the United Nations by accommodating immigrants from Africa and Asia. According to Bolsonaro, Trump is a role model every leader that loves his people and his country should imitate. It is now Brazil first.
According to the former minister of External Affairs, Dr. Aloysio Nunes who represented Brazil at the occasion that had 160 signatories, “It is a set back to the country if Brazil should pull out of an accord it signed recently.”
