Boy,13, Admits to Having Consensual Sex with 32-year-old House Help

A 13-year-old teenager has admitted to willingly having sex with his family’s 32-year-old house help for eight months.

The unnamed teenager testified yesterday in a Kenyan courtroom in Nairobi, that he “willingly” had sexual relations with the adult maid.

He told the court that their romance started in July 2020.

He admitted that he had sex three times a week with the house help, who was granted cash bail shortly before the boy testified.

“She told me it’s our secret and that I shouldn’t tell anyone,” the minor explained. “As a result, I never notified my parents until I was caught accessing pornography on my sister’s phone.”

The youngster also said that he was usually aroused after watching pornography and that he and the maid, identified as V.N.W, would have intercourse in the kitchen and sitting room when everyone else was sleeping.

He further revealed that after using the house help’s phone, he would steal his sister’s phone to continue watching pornography. The child claimed that the house help warned him that what they were doing was wrong, but he couldn’t stop himself.

The young boy stated emphatically that he was not coerced into the act.

“I was not forced into the act. After we did it for the first time, I felt compelled to lower my pants and do it without being forced.”

In February 2021, V.N.W was charged with defiling a 13-year-old child and exposing the juvenile victim to pornographic content for eight months.

V.N.W was accused of committing the crime between July 2020 and February 2021 in the Mwiki neighbourhood, Kasarani, Nairobi County.

The house help was charged with encouraging a sexual offence, allegedly showing a minor pornographic content and conducting an indecent act with a child.
