An unconfirmed number of Nigerian soldiers were feared dead today in an attack on their position in Azare, Yobe State.
A member of the troop who survived the attack posted the photo of his injured leg on his Facebook page.
The soldier, Sammy Jay Ajuwa, also prayed for the repose of the soul of his colleagues who died in the attack.
His posted reads: “My location azare yobe was attack diz morning but Almighty God keep me alive despite bullet penetrate my sweater but didn’t touch me its just a miracle 4rm d Lord (RIP to those who died).
“Still in hospital but I’m okay no injury.”
