Bereaved families in UK have drawn public attention to what is killing at least 84 young men every week in Britain.

With the erection of 84 statues above ITV’s central London this week, the families put the spotlight on suicide as the biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

The new art installation, according to them, represents the 84 men who die through suicide every week in the UK.

NewsmakersNG learnt that the sculptures were created with the help of bereaved families and friends to raise awareness of the biggest killer of men under 45.

Tagged as Project 84, the installation is part of charity Calm’s campaign to improve suicide prevention and bereavement support.
