According to a statement signed by his personal assistant, SP Muyiwa Adejobi, the Police boss admonished the star musician during his visit to the office of the DIG Operations, Police Force Headquarters, Garki Abuja, after Naira Marley’s arraignment by the FCT authority for violating COVID-19 rules on Friday.

Ali urged Naira Marley to turn around his fame and his large number of fans and followers to boosting national development, impacting good and educative ideas on the youths and the entire populace, who will, in turn, be helpful in all ramifications through the promotion of moral values.

The statement further reads: “The police boss also admonished Fasola to respect constituted authorities in the country considering his nature of profession and fame across the country and the world in general.

“In his response, Azeez Fasola assured the Nigeria Police of being a good example to all and sundry, and assist in evangelising community policing concept in order to have better protection of lives and property of Nigerians.”
