A bank customer showed remarkable courage after confronting three armed robbers who allegedly trailed him from TAJBank before attacking him near Iya Femi Restaurant, a popular eatery in Minna, Niger State.

The dramatic incident reportedly occurred after the victim withdrew a large sum of money from the bank and later stopped at the restaurant.

According to reports circulating online, the three suspects followed the victim from the bank before confronting him with firearms in an attempt to rob him.

Instead of surrendering, the victim fought back. During the struggle, he reportedly overpowered one of the attackers, seized his gun and fired at the suspect, injuring him.

Despite the resistance, the remaining robbers managed to escape with about N10 million in cash and drove off in the victim’s car, abandoning their operational vehicle.

Police authorities later confirmed that the stolen vehicle has since been recovered, while investigations are ongoing to track down the fleeing suspects.

The incident has sparked widespread debate online about criminals trailing bank customers after large withdrawals, a tactic that security experts say has become increasingly common in several Nigerian cities.

Authorities have not yet confirmed whether the injured suspect has been arrested or sought medical treatment, as efforts continue to apprehend members of the gang.
